No matter what you do outside, there will be times when you wished you could write something down, but, it starts to rain and all your pages stick together or smudge. With the wonder paper in this notebook you can forget that worry. You will need to understand a couple of things, the pages are smooth but not slick, the pencil writing you do will be a little on the light side so use a softer lead so it will have a better contrast. Use a waterproof pen (sold at Trig) which writes upside down and through drops of water on the paper. The pen I use does tend to skip a little, but not enough to bother me. Another thing is, everything you write in the book needs to be in waterproof form. Don't use a regular pen and don't expect things you have already written will not smudge. So, if you need a way to keep track of the written word or picture and expect high moisture or rain then this is a good option and comes in many sizes.
