1. Scope of Services
Trig Instruments provides repair services for surveying equipment and instruments.- Services include:
- Diagnosis and troubleshooting of equipment malfunctions
- Repair of damaged or faulty components
- Calibration and adjustment of instruments
- Preventive maintenance and cleaning
2. Equipment Acceptance
We reserve the right to refuse to accept equipment for repair if it is deemed to be damaged beyond repair, hazardous, or in violation of applicable laws. Upon request, we can provide a written estimate of the repair costs, including parts, labour, and any applicable freight and taxes.
3. Quotation and Inspection Fee
We charge a non-refundable fee of $50+GST for quotations and inspections. This fee will be waived if you proceed with the repair.4. Repair Process
We always use reasonable care and skill in repairing equipment.Repair times may vary depending on the nature of the work required, our workload and the availability of parts.
We will notify you if the estimated repair costs exceed the original estimate and obtain your approval before proceeding.
5. Warranty on repairs
Trig Instruments warrants that its repairs will be free from defects in workmanship for a period of 30 days from the date of repair.- The warranty does not cover:
- Normal wear and tear
- Misuse, abuse, or neglect
- Damage caused by unauthorised modifications or repairs
- Calibration
- Batteries
- Water damage
6. Payment
Payment for repairs is due upon completion of the work, unless other arrangements have been made in advance.7. Abandoned Goods
After 90 days, uncollected goods or repairs jobs may be sold to recover costs. Items that are paid for but uncollected will be kept for 6 months before being treated as abandoned. Should you be unable to collect or pay for goods or servicing, you must notify the us in writing so that they can make arrangements with you to hold the goods until such time as you can collect and or pay for the goods or service.
8. Limitation of Liability
Trig Instruments shall not be liable for any incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from the repair of the equipment.Trig Instruments' liability for any loss or damage shall not exceed the total amount paid by the customer for the repair services
9. Amendments
Trig Instruments reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Any changes will be effective upon posting on Trig Instruments' website or upon notification to the customer.
By submitting equipment for repair, the customer agrees to these terms and conditions.
