This prism pole adjusting jig mounts on a wall or door frame and allows a stable adjustable calibration base to allow the pole to be rotated 180 degrees to adjust the bubble. Place the point of the pole in the lower bracket, then using the adjusting screws on the top part of the jig, bring the pole vertical on the bubble vial. Now rotate the pole 180 degrees, then halve the bubble error with the bubble adjusting screws and repeat the procedure until the bubble vial is level on both sides.

Installation: It is recommended that the jig is mounted on a vertical stud with 4 screws (not included). If no stud is available, the jig can be mounted on a sturdy timber door frame or a plasterboard wall with wall anchors (not included).

FEATURES:

  • Convenient for adjusting and calibrating pole vials in the office
  • The adjusting jig features an ‘L-bracket’ to rest the prism pole point on and the adjustable top piece
  • Use the adjustable top to centre your pole before adjusting the bubble

SPECIFICATIONS:

  • Construction: Metal
  • Warranty: 12 months

Very pleased

It's been a bug bear for some time trying to adjust prism poles whilst holding them, but this jig makes the task very simple - a game changer.

Really handy tool

We have always struggled with adjusting or even checking our poles, so when I saw this I knew it would be helpful. Once set up it's easy to use and we now have a process of checking our poles once a month. Adjusting a pole takes a little bit of getting used to, but once you have the technique it's not too hard, just go slow.
