Just select the built-in scale factor to match the plan and roll the PlanWheel. The measurement is displayed instantly. The PlanWheel is portable and uses two AAA batteries (included). Should you wish to connect and download from the Plan Wheel, just purchase the optional interface kit.

Really easy to use

I am not one for reading manuals, so it took me a little bit to figure it out, but once I understood how to use it, it has become indispensable for my job. I got the XLU3 because I intend to connect it to my computer down the track, but I don't yet have the connection kit.
